The Mercy golf team finished the 2016 season with a 13-1 record. The season championship was won. Inthe league tournament played at Hawks Landing G.C. Mercy wonthe title. Medalist was Mercy's Preawa Treekul with a score of 71. All league selections for Mercy were: Preawa Treekul and Megan DeVille all league first team. alyssa Scandura and Christiana Bevilacqua were second team. Betty Smith was honorable mention. The team qualified for the state tournament in June. They were ranked number 8 out of 55 teams in the state. The team finished 16th in the tournament.
It was a great season. Coach Laden and I are looking forward to 2017 to continue this sucess. All returning members are expected to play this summer to improve their games. Compition will be intense for the 5 top playing positios. Have a great summer girls and PRACTICE.
