MERCY GOLF - WEEK OF APRIL 23 TO APRIL 30, 2012 On April 23 Mercy had a tri-match with Hall High School and Newington High.The matches were played at Rockledge G.C. in West Hartford. Mercy lost both matches. The scores were: Hall 196 - Newington 208 and Mercy 215. Mercy scores were: Amanda Pacheco 53, Gwen Maurice 56, Danielle Verre 53, Emily Fritsch 53 and Jamie Corrone 58. April 26 Mercy defeated Cheshire in a Home Match at Lyman's golf course 208 to 212. Mercy scores were: Amanda Pacheco 49, Gwen Maurice 54, Danielle Verre 58, Emily Fritsch 50 and Mackenzie Dugan 55. In a match on April 30 at Lyman's G.C. Mercy defeated Canton and Hand High Schools in a Tri-Match. Mercy shot 219, Canrton 220 and Hand 238. Mercy scores were: Amanda Pacheco 52,Gwen Maurice 56,Danielle Verre 67,Emily Fritsch 54 and Mackenzie Dugan 57. MERCY GOLF MATCHES WEEK OF MAY 1 TO MAY 3,2012 On May 1 Mercy defeated Sacred Heart at The Country Club Of New Haven 204 to 225. Mercy scores were: Amanda Pacheco 45, Gwen Maurice 57, Emily Fritsch 52, Mackenzie Dugan 54 and Jamie Corrone 53. On May 3 Mercy played a home tri-match with Suffield and Masuk. Team scores were: Masuk 205 - Mercy 210 and Suffield 245. Amanda Pacheco lead the Mercy team with a 49. Gwen Maurice had a 56, Emily Fritsch had 49, Mackenzie Dugan 56 and Jamie Corrone 56. GOLF MATCHES WEEK OF MAY 8 TO MAY 10 2012 On May 8 Mercy Played a tri-match at Lyman's against Avon and Newington. Team scores were: Avon 200 - Mercy 221 and Newington 223. Mercy sores were: Amanda Pacheco 59, Gwen Maurice 58, Mackenzie Dugan 55 and Jamie Corrone 54. May 10 Mercy defeated Sacred Heart at Lyman's G.C. 205 to 245. Mercy scores were: Amanda Pacheco44, Gwen Maurice 57, Emily Fritsch 52, Mackenzie Dugan 60 and Jamie Corrone 52.

Mercy Golf - APRIL 23 - April 26, 2012 The Mercy golf team played in a trimatch 0n Monday April 23,12 at Rockledge G.C. in West Hartford. The team scores were: Hall 196 - Newington 208 and Mercy 215. Mercy scores: Amanda Pacheco 53, Gwen Maurice 56, Danielle Verre 53, Emily Fritsch 53 and Jamie Corrone 58. On Thursday April 26, 2012 Mercy played a home match at Lyman's G.C. against Cheshire High school. Mercy shot 208 and Cheshire had 212. Mercy scores: Amanda Pacheco 49, Gwen Maurice 54, Danielle Verre 58, Emily Fritsch 50 and Mackenzie Dugan 55. Mercy's record is now 3-3. Next week the Mercy Tigers will play three matches. Two of the matches will be at home. The team has an opportunity to have a good season if they continue to improve.

Th Mercy golf team opened the season at Oronoque C.C. on April 5,2012. Mercy shot 218 and Bunnell shot 223. Mercy scores were: Amanda Pacheco 53, Gwen Maurice 57, Danielle Verre 61, Emily Fritsch 53 and Jamie Corrone 55. On April 9, 201 Mercy traveled to Copper Hill G.C. to play Suffield. Mercy shot 208 and Suffield shot 240. Mercy scores were: Amanda Pacheco 45, Gwen Maurice 51, Danielle Verre 56, Emily Fritsch 56 and Mackenzie Dugan 60. April 12. 2012 Mercy played Canton at Tower Ridge G.C. Mercy lost the match. Canton shot 227 and Mercy shot their highest score of the young season with a 236. Mercy scores were: Amanda Pacheco 58, Gwen Maurice 59, Danielle Verre 60, Emily Fritsch 59 and Jamie Corrone 61. Mercy must improve if the team is going to be force in the SCGGL and have a chance at qualifying for the state tournament in June.
