In the month of May Mercy golf team improved it record to 8 and 4. On May 3rd Mercy defeated Hand at Fenwick G.C. 200 - 208. Mercy scores were - Ashely Blackham 44, Amanda Pacheco 49, Jenny Bentley 57, Sydney Neubieser 50 and Gwen Maurice 59.
May 5th Mercy defeated H-K and Middletown at Bannerlodge G.C. Mercy had 215 - H-K 237 and Middle town 305. Mercy scores were - Ashley Blackham 47, Amanda Pacheco 50, Gwen Maurice 56, Paige Hogan 62 and Lauren Fazzino 62.
On May 9th Mercy defeated Sacred Heart 213 to 238 at Lyman Meadows G.C. Mercy scores were - Ashley Blackham 46, Amanda Pacheco 50, Gwen Maurice 57, Jenny Bentley 60 and Dannille Vere 64.
May 10th Mercy competed in a trimatch with Hand and Cheshire at Lyman Meadows G. C. Mercy split with a victory over Hand 204 to 221 and loss to Cheshire 190 to 204. Mercy scores were - Ashley Blackham 46, Amanda Pacheco 55, Gwen Maurice 53, Sydney Neubieser 50 and Emily Fritsch.
on May 12th Mercy traveled to Tower Ridge G.C. in Avon to play Canton. Mercy defeated Canton 215 to 221. Mercy scores were - Ashley Blackham 47, Amanda Pacheco 53, Sydney Neubieser 61, Jenny Bentley 61 and Gwen Maurice.
There has been some improvement in the teams performance. All golfers must reduce their scores if qualifing for the state tournament is going to occur.
